The youngest driver in Alpine’s line-up has quickly established himself as one of Endurance racing's brightest talents. After a remarkable debut in single-seaters, the Frenchman took up the challenge of a full FIA World Endurance Championship season in 2021. He demonstrated the extent of his talent by winning the LMP2-class world title and 24 Hours of Le Mans in his first campaign.
After a campaign with the Signatech-operated Richard Mille Racing Team, Charles switched to Alpine in 2023 and rewarded our faith with a podium in Monza. It proved a perfect step on the ladder to his halo Hypercar drive in 2024. He proved his ability with three exhilarating hyperpole appearances and the team's best qualifying result.
"I'm thrilled to continue the adventure with Alpine. We all hope this new campaign will continue the positive things we saw in the second half of our 2024 season. The aim will be to improve everything we can on the car to extract even more performance from it in all areas and continue to work relentlessly on reliability to be at the front of the field more consistently."
