Jules Gounon - WEC reserve driver

Jules Gounon began as a teenager in karting and has progressed into sportscars, driving for iconic and established names. He boasts enviable experience on some of the world's greatest circuits.

He has won the 24 Hours of Spa on two occasions, the 12 Hours of Bathurst three times and sealed GTD Pro victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 2023. His record of sharp results at halo Endurance events continues to grow and includes a podium finish at the gruelling Nürburgring 24 Hours. He returns to the driver's seat of the Alpine A424 for a full season after strong reserve driver performances in 2024.

"I'm going into this season in a very positive frame of mind. It will be my first full FIA World Endurance Championship campaign with Alpine Endurance Team, having been a reserve driver in 2024. I was able to contest four races, but I'm genuinely happy to become a full-time driver thanks to Alpine's confidence. It's a close-knit team. There is close collaboration among everyone and excellent understanding between all the drivers, which allows the whole team to work well and move forward together."
