SPORTING DIRECTOR, ALPINE ENDURANCE TEAM

NICOLAS LAPIERRE

Nicolas Lapierre - WEC Alpine

Biography

As an experienced racer himself, Nicolas Lapierre has competed on circuits around the world, in single-seaters, touring cars, and endurance prototypes. With Alpine, he helped write some of the most glorious chapters in the brand's endurance racing history, securing three victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and two LMP2 World Championship titles.

From the very beginning of the Hypercar project, he was fully involved in the development of the A424 as a development driver. After a full season in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2024, Nicolas Lapierre began a new chapter in his career in 2025, becoming Sporting Director of the Alpine Endurance Team, a role he will continue for his second season.

His experience competing at the highest level, his in-depth knowledge of endurance racing, and his close relationships with the drivers are essential assets for supporting the team's progress.

“I am very happy to continue the adventure with Alpine Endurance Team in this role as sporting director. After a first season full of learning, the goal is to capitalise on the experience gained to continue developing the team." We have a solid and complementary driver group, blending continuity with new energy with the arrival of Antonio and Victor. Their integration, alongside Charles, Ferdinand, Jules, and Frédéric, is part of a strong collective dynamic, essential in a championship as demanding as the FIA WEC.”
