Nicolas Lapierre is an experienced racer who has competed worldwide in single-seaters, touring cars and sportscars. He has contributed to some of the most memorable moments in our own Endurance racing History, scoring three 24 Hours of Le Mans class wins and two LMP2 world titles with Alpine.

As a development driver for the A424, Nicolas has been part of the adventure since the inception of the Hypercar project and undeniably deserves a prime spot driving our new competitor across the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship season. He will continue to provide his vast expertise, confidence and composure to unite our exciting new driver line-up.

“It's an ambitious project, and I was proud to be offered the chance to develop the car,” says Nicolas. “I’m particularly fond of the team. We have enjoyed success, and to return to the Hypercar programme is a superb opportunity. “We're facing a new era in Endurance racing, with a field more competitive than ever. We will represent “Les Bleus” and we can't wait to see the fans at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the other races in the championship."
