Rooted in a shared legacy of innovation and bold thinking, first shaped by their founders René Lacoste and Jean Rédélé, this collaboration unveils two exclusive creations: a one-off Alpine A290 Rallye and a capsule collection.
Le Test
In this film named "Le Test", two iconic Pierre share the screen: Pierre Gasly, French driver for BWT Alpine Formula One Team, and Pierre Niney, French actor and director. They take turns behind the wheel of the one-off, testing the revisited A290 Rallye, and wearing the Lacoste x Alpine collection.
Beware of the Crocodile - Alpine Lacoste A290 Rallye
The A290 Rallye, the first electric Alpine dedicated to customer competition, is revisited through the lens of Lacoste style. The iconic red of the Lacoste crocodile's tongue is the source of inspiration, with its immersive concept infusing the entire vehicle. Its exterior shade, meanwhile, is inspired by alpine landscapes, echoing Jean Rédélé's first playground.
Beware of the Crocodile - Alpine Lacoste A290 Rallye features a contemporary exterior design inspired by rally cars, characterized by widened tracks, prominent wings, and a spectacular diffuser, highlighting a radical sportiness.
The reduced number of parts and certain elements such as exposed forged carbon help lighten the vehicle, an essential approach in the world of rally where every kilogram counts.
The audacity of both brands is reflected in numerous details, such as 290 crocodiles incorporated throughout the design, the absence of a rear window revealing the extreme sportiness of the interior, and the three crocodiles on the front hood.
The collection
Lacoste and Alpine are launching a capsule collection echoing the vehicle, merging the worlds of the court and the track. Co-branded clothing, accessories, and technical pieces combine functionality, sporting elegance, and savoir-faire. This line embodies the shared heritage of both brands: lightness, precision, performance, and style.
