OUR RACING HERITAGE
A290_β: Performance at its core
A290_β boasts a screen-free interior, allowing drivers to stay fully immersed in the driving experience. The steering wheel, inspired by the precision of the brand’s racing cars, features a unique ‘OV’ button to overtake with a 10-second power boost.
This car seamlessly marries the minimalist interior of rally cars with cutting-edge F1 technology.
A conceptual interior, with the driver at its core
A290_β exhibits perfect synergy between interior and exterior, with a windscreen that extends over the bonnet, emphasising the central driving position. This unique feature highlights an arrow-shaped dashboard, inspired by the tapered nose of Formula 1 cars, extending outwards through the mirrors. This visual connection between the interior and exterior encapsulates Alpine's relentless pursuit of an immersive driving experience.
COLOURS & MATERIALS
FUSION AND PASSION
The subtle combination of magenta and blue inside the car embodies Alpine’s ‘feel at one’ concept. Magenta evokes speed and technical prowess, whilst blue gives an enhanced feeling of togetherness within the 3-seater cockpit. A290_β's interior is unique in its design and structure, as well as in the use of materials, that are simultaneously refined, luxurious, modern, and high-tech.
EXTERIOR DESIGN
SLEEK AND CONTEMPORARY SILHOUETTE
Aerodynamic design: driving pleasure first
The front fascia boasts generous air intakes to optimise airflow and cooling. Its elegant mirrors enhance aerodynamics, while the distinctive indicators further amplify its dynamic presence.
The luminous 'X' signature takes inspiration from the iconic A110 headlights and the heritage of historic racing cars. The vertical rear taillights, reminiscent of the A470 endurance model, add a touch of racing legacy to the design.
A290_β offers a glimpse into the future of a dynamic and agile production car, with its short wheelbase and widened body.
This showcar encapsulates the very essence of Alpine, presenting an electric driving experience that takes the notion of sportiness to uncharted territory. Its contemporary body design blends robust contours with intricate technical elements, underscoring an unwavering dedication to high performance.
The pristine, powdery white paint of its bodywork, reminiscent of towering mountain peaks, reveals subtle shimmering accents as it catches the light.
