How can you delay battery ageing and its effect on driving range?

The importance of battery ageing must be put into perspective. Drawing on our extensive experience with Li-ion batteries, we offer batteries that degrade very slowly. Very rarely have we had to change batteries due to loss of driving range.

However, we recommend charging your battery to 80% when you don't have long journeys to make. This will extend your battery life.

Your battery should be left at an intermediate charge level (between 30% and 80%) if your vehicle is going to be parked for long periods and risks being exposed to significant heat. This helps to improve your battery’s resistance over time.

Good to know:
- Charging the battery using rapid charging from 80% to 100% takes just as long as charging it from 15% to 80%.
- When the battery is fully charged, the deceleration provided by the hydraulic brakes has an impact on battery range.
- When the battery is not fully charged, each deceleration regenerates the battery via the electric motor.
