How can I optimise my charging during a long journey?
On a long journey, we recommend charging at a rapid charging station only if your battery level is between 10 and 30%, and not charging above 80%.
The aim of this strategy is to maximise your vehicle’s power capabilities, optimising downtime in relation to energy recovery.
Depending on your vehicle and the options available, make the most of built-in features in Google Maps and/or use battery thermal preconditioning to significantly cut down on your charging time.
